A tribute to the late, Great Clara
We are very sad to hear the news of the passing of Clara MacNamee. An inspiration to any that met her. Clara has been a great benefactor to the DCWC in Nepal and has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years she has been supporting the charity. She has visited the Hospital as often as she could and was planning to return for the 10 year anniversary before Covid arrived. Clara was from San Francisco and a tougher person you will not meet. She had many interesting experiences in her life, undertaking drug treatment programs in the notorious San Quentin prison being one of them. She passed away at the age of 93. A very larger than life lady. She will be very sadly missed. Thank you very much for all that you did. Nepal would have been a far poorer place without your extraordinary kindness!!
